I would say NP for sure, might need new seats and the top fixed but for 1900 it looks really clean.

Not a terrible looking deal. Good find! I'd rock it (as would most of us true Jalops). Good luck!

Give this a read before you check it out. I had another friend read it before he bought his and the knowledge he gained let him knock about $500 off the price.

I'd say it's less of a might need and more of a "will need pretty soon". The seats are livable for a while. The top is livable as well, until the first rainy day.

Use all the seat covers and silicon!

A car that originated from the era before Miata. Nobody remembers the era before Miata.
But FC-3S is a great looking car, especially in that blue. The interior is significantly worn, and quite 80's-tastic... but there is potential.
There is a sleek black FC convertible around where I live, in pristine shape... and it is a great looking car. I have more respect for the innovation of the Wankel rotary engine than it's detractors who seem to tarnish it's reputation.
I always wondered if one could re-fit the upper aft quarter and hatchback glass of a coupe onto a Convertible body (keeping all the convertible's chassis bracing and such...) and make a targa fastback... like an alternative to an MA-70 Mark III Supra, which is also on my short list of modern classic 80's and 90's era cars.

Exterior and engine bay both look really clean. If you're serious about buying though, make sure you get a compression test using a compression tester that doesn't hold the highest compression value, so you can see the condition of all three seals per rotor. Racing Beat has an excellent guide on the subject:

This would be my weekend/summer car, I would fix the top with tape and just deal with the seats until I could afford sparco buckets
